Apple picking in Cleveland, OH

Opening day was 8 July. The blackberry patch opens in mid-July on select weekdays and weekends, apple u-pick weekends and the Honeycrisp golden-hour evening follow in September, and pumpkin patch weekends run through October. Closed Tuesdays.

In the farm's own words: "Thank You for a wonderful 55th season of Pick Your Own Strawberries. We will see you back in the Apple Orchards… in a few months for Pick Your Own Apples." Apple picking typically runs mid-August to mid-October.

A hard spring, told plainly. In the farm's own words: "Like many Midwest farms, our 2026 cherry crop was lost due to late spring freezes", with the freeze dated to 8 April. There is no cherry picking this year. Raspberry picking was limited to late June and early July, peaches are available only through limited pick-your-own workshops pre-sold by the basket, and the apple crop "is looking promising". Apples and sunflowers pick 10am to 5pm daily in season.

Late summer at the market brings fresh-picked apples, sweet corn and peaches. U-pick apples run in autumn and the farm bills them as an event rather than an open field; strawberry picking is a June festival.

In the farm's own words: "2026 Season: September 5 – November 1 • 10am – 6pm." Picking is weekends only in September and October, and requires a farm admission ticket. The farm market opens a week earlier on 31 August and needs no ticket.

U-pick runs June to October. Apples are picked from August through October across three orchards and around fifteen varieties, and grapes from mid-August. In the farm's own words there will be no pick-your-own summer raspberries in 2026, though the autumn primocane crop should run from August.

In the farm's own words: "UPICK HONEYCRISP apples will be ready at the end of August. Other UPICK APPLES will be starting in September." U-pick sunflowers are open now and the farm says apples are ready.

The Fall Festival runs through September and October, closed Tuesday to Thursday, with the last admission sold at 5pm. Picking apples, pumpkins or sunflowers all require a paid admission first, and each adult admission includes a small apple-picking bag and one sunflower cut.

In the farm's own words: "Blueberry picking is over for the season. The market is open by appointment." Apples and sweet cider follow in the autumn, and the farm says the 2026 season is almost here.

Blackberry picking runs on named dates in August, given on the farm's own site as 10 and 16 August in one place and 13, 16 and 19 August in another, 9am to 5pm. Wildflower cutting is daily 9am to 5pm. Apples follow in autumn.

Apples run from the early varieties in high summer through autumn, and grapes follow. Strawberries, sweet cherries, blueberries and blackberries are grown here but the farm states plainly that none of them is available for picking.

In the farm's own words: "U-Pick will begin September 18th, 2026 and will run until November 1st. This year we will offer U-Pick on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Different varieties of apples will be available to pick each weekend." The market is open for the season now with peaches and produce.

Blueberry picking runs through the month of July and was over by the time this listing was written. U-pick apples are a two-weekend event, typically the first two weekends in October, and have run every year since 1999.

The orchard opens for pick-your-own apples and peaches in season. The farm gives no dates of its own; apples in this region run September and October, peaches August and September.
