Blueberry picking in Cleveland, OH

U-pick runs June to October. Apples are picked from August through October across three orchards and around fifteen varieties, and grapes from mid-August. In the farm's own words there will be no pick-your-own summer raspberries in 2026, though the autumn primocane crop should run from August.

Strawberries open the year in the first or second week of June, raspberries follow in early July for about a fortnight, and blueberries run from early July to mid-August. Tomatoes and peppers carry on into autumn, peppers until the first frost.

Picking runs 8am to 2pm Wednesday through Sunday during the blueberry season, which in this region is July into August. The farm asks people to check its blog or call to confirm availability before setting off.

In the farm's own words: "We're opening Tuesday, June 23rd!" Nine cultivars ripen in sequence with overlap, giving a season from late June through mid-August, and the farm called this year's crop "shaping up to be our best season ever".

A short and difficult season, in the farm's own words: "We will be closing Saturday, the 11th, probably for the season. The freezes in May and hailstorm this Spring were very damaging to the crop. We plan to continue to make improvements to the patch in anticipation of a better season next year."

Blueberry picking runs through the month of July and was over by the time this listing was written. U-pick apples are a two-weekend event, typically the first two weekends in October, and have run every year since 1999.
