This year's opening was Tuesday 23 June, and the farm was cheerful about it: "This year's crop is shaping up to be our best season ever, so come out for a relaxing day in the country and a bountiful supply of fresh, delicious blueberries."
A nice touch, and rare: "Leave your address with us, and we'll send you a postcard at the start of next season."
Pro tip: $3.25 a pound is the cheapest blueberry picking in this region, against $3.75 at Geneva and $4.00 at Conneaut. Nine cultivars in sequence also means the flavour changes across the season, so a July visit and an August visit are not the same trip.
