This season
In the farm's own words: "We are closed for the 2026 season! We hope to see you at the farm next year!" Picking normally opens between the end of June and mid July and, with only mid-season varieties planted, lasts shortly into August.

Woodside Berries at Garrettsville grows strictly mid-season blueberries, which is a deliberate choice and it makes the season short and the fruit good.
The farm also sells blueberry plants.
Closed for 2026. In the farm's own words: "CLOSED FOR THE SEASON: We are closed for the 2026 season! We hope to see you at the farm next year!"
On timing: "Though opening day is always weather dependent, we typically plan to open each year sometime between the end of June and mid July. Feel free to call or e-mail us any time for a more accurate estimate for our seasonal opening date."
A short drive from Cleveland, Akron and Youngstown all three.
Pro tip: growing only mid-season varieties means there is no long tail here, so the useful call is in mid-June asking for an opening date, not in late July asking whether there is any fruit left.
