Pumpkin picking in Philadelphia, PA

The orchard publishes a full dated crop calendar: strawberries from 30 May, raspberries and cherries in June, peaches and nectarines July to August, apples August to October, pumpkins September to October. Every price on its u-pick page reads TBD.

The picking season opens on Memorial Day with strawberries and runs to late October. The orchard reports that after April's frost it "had to get creative with new events and specialty items", so its 2026 tree fruit should be checked before travelling.

The farm runs picking across four seasons and publishes a live "Currently Picking" page rather than a calendar, warning that "Picking dates can change by as much as a week or 10 days from year to year".

Open every day 8am to 6pm with free parking and free admission to the grounds. Picking runs 8am to 4pm. At the time of checking beefsteak tomatoes, bicolor corn, Fredonia grapes, sunflowers and zinnias were open. The farm has published a message about the impact of the April freeze.

Open year round, Monday to Saturday 9am to 7pm, closed Sundays. The farm publishes a Crop Availability page by season rather than fixed dates.

The orchard runs pick-your-own alongside a bakery and a cidery. Its own website could not be read: every page returns a title and no body.

Strawberry season is over and the farm is closed. It reopens on Friday 11 September for the pumpkin season. There is no entrance fee and no ticket or reservation is needed.

Picking runs Tuesday to Sunday, 9am to 3pm, closed Mondays. At the time of checking the farm reported "excellent picking" on Jonamac apples and sweet corn. There are no farm-grown peaches this year and the market is buying them in from other growers.

The farm's own website is behind a bot-verification wall and could not be read, so nothing about its 2026 season is confirmed.

The market opens 8am to 6pm and picking 8am to 5pm, closed Sundays. At the time of checking raspberries were available for picking. The apple festival is on Saturday 12 September.

The store is open seven days. Picking hours change through the season and the orchard posts daily availability on Facebook rather than on its site.

Blueberry picking runs every day 9am to 4pm. Pears come the first weekend in September, sunflowers in August, apples mid September and pumpkins in October. Cherries, peaches and plums are available in the market only, with no u-pick this season.

Strawberry picking is a special event rather than a season, and the farm across the road at 4493 York Road opens only for those events. The market is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm.

Picking runs Wednesday to Sunday, 9am to 3:30pm, and the farm gives a free picking pass Wednesday to Friday. At the time of checking flowers, tomatoes, aubergine and sweet and hot peppers were all open.

Open Thursday to Sunday for the summer and autumn season. Strawberry picking needs a $5 picking pass per person; every other crop is paid for by weight after you pick. No reservations are taken and the farm works first-come, first-served.

The farm describes itself as Cherry Hill's last working farm and has been growing on Springdale Road since 1949. Its own site does not describe pick-your-own, and the crops it names are sold at the market.

The farm's own website is behind a Cloudflare check and could not be read. The directory records pick-your-own pumpkins and strawberries.

Open daily 10am to 9:30pm through the summer, weekends only either side. U-pick crops and Sunflower Days run alongside a large ticketed activity farm, and the Fall Festival pre-sale saves 15% until 7 September.

The autumn season runs 10 September to 1 November, Thursday to Monday, closed Tuesday and Wednesday. September is 10am to 7pm and October 10am to 6pm. U-pick sunflowers and a pumpkin patch are the picking; tickets are sold online.
