Specca Farms at Bordentown charges for one crop and not the others, and explains exactly why on its own FAQ page.
In the farm's own words: "For Strawberry Picking customers will need a Picking pass to enter the fields. These passes are $5 a person which you will pay as you enter the farm. For all other crops we do not require any payment until we weigh what you picked."
Strawberries in spring, then summer and autumn crops including vegetables and pumpkins. Which fields are open is marked with signs, and there is a chart at the scale house.
Open Thursday to Saturday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm. The farm closes for dangerous weather or too much rain and posts that on Facebook.
No reservations, in its own words: "The farm is open on a first-come first-serve basis."
You may drive your own vehicle out to the field, and there are wagons for heavy orders.

Pro tip: being able to drive to the row you are picking changes what is worth taking home. This is the farm to choose if you are filling boxes rather than a punnet.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
