Linvilla Orchards

Linvilla Orchards at Media is 300 acres thirty minutes south of Philadelphia, and it charges nothing to walk in: "Complimentary parking and admission to the grounds."

What You Can Pick

At the time of checking: beefsteak tomatoes, bicolor corn, Fredonia grapes, sunflowers and zinnias, all open 8am to 4pm.

Across the year: strawberries in June, blueberries in July, peaches in August, apples in September, pumpkins in October.

What Else is Available

Barnyard animals, the Playland Playground, fishing at Orchard Lake, the Harvest Grill, the Linvilla Cafe, the Ship Bottom Beer Garden, and the seasonal Pumpkinland and Christmasland.

Good to Know

Open 8am to 6pm every day. Picking closes at 4pm, two hours before the grounds.

The farm has published a message titled "Navigating the Impact of the April Freeze", so its 2026 tree fruit should be checked before you rely on it.

Pro tip: Fredonia is a slip-skin American grape, closer to a Concord than to anything in a supermarket, and almost nobody lets the public pick it. It is the most interesting thing in the field right now.
