Weaver's Orchard

Weaver's Orchard at Morgantown picks twelve different fruits across five months, from Memorial Day strawberries to late October apples. Nothing else in this region comes close to that range.

What You Can Pick

In the orchard's own list: red and black raspberries, sweet and tart cherries, blueberries, blackberries, plums, peaches, nectarines, apples, pears, pumpkins, kiwiberries and sunflowers, with strawberries opening the season.

What Else is Available

A year-round farm market, Kim's Café with espresso, a bakery, a deli with catering, and a garden centre.

Good to Know

The 2026 season has been difficult. In the orchard's own words: "After April's frost, we had to get creative with new events and specialty items." Twelve crops is the normal year, not necessarily this one.

Pro tip: kiwiberries are the reason to mark this orchard down for September. They are grape-sized kiwis you eat skin and all, they ripen for about three weeks, and almost nowhere in America lets the public pick them.
