Checked August 22, 2026
McGrath Family Farm at Camarillo is a Ventura County farm working under integrated pest management, on the coastal plain where most of California's strawberries are grown.
Blackberries and strawberries, alongside beetroot and vegetables. None of this is confirmed from the farm itself.
There is no website. No hours, no prices and no season dates are published.
Pro tip: Ventura County strawberries start in February and can run to July, which is four months earlier and two months longer than anywhere on the east coast. The California season is a completely different shape.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
