A Farm Store Tent, a Farm Kitchen doing tri-tip sandwiches and BBQ, nature trails, Oak Knoll Park and Blue Sky Park, hard cider tastings, a Cider Co., Wilshire's Apple Shed, a Market Barn and Kitchen, and Little Seedling Ranch.
Events run all season: an Apple Butter Festival, Old West Days, Movies on the Green, Farm to Table dinners and Chuck Wagon Suppers.
Good to Know
Oak Glen sits at about 4,700 feet in the San Bernardino mountains, which is why apples grow here at all and why it is ten degrees cooler than the valley below.
Pro tip: Macintosh in late August is unusually early, and it is a soft, aromatic, short-keeping apple that is best eaten within a week. Pick it to eat now, not to store.
