About This Farm
Tanaka Farms at Irvine is the best-known farm in Orange County and the only working farm left in the middle of it. Its picking is sold as guided tours rather than open field access.

A Produce Market Stand, a Barnyard Exhibit, Hana Field, a CSA with weekly boxes, field trips, private events and Hikari: Festival of Lights.
The farm also runs the Tanaka Heritage Project, documenting four generations from Japan to Orange County, which is a genuinely unusual thing for a farm to publish.
Good to Know
The Produce Market Stand opens 9am to 5pm, seven days. Everything else is booked.
Pro tip: a guided wagon tour is a different proposition from walking into a field, and worth knowing before you book. What you get here is a working farm in the middle of Irvine, which is remarkable in itself.
