This season
Pick-your-own raspberries are in season and, in the farm's own words, "Berries are very abundant." Zestar, SweeTango and Chestnut apples are ripening soon, with European plums after. The farm is open late June to November.

Knapton's Raspberries, Pumpkins and Orchard at Rockford is twenty miles west of Minneapolis and is unusually careful about managing expectations.
At the time of checking: raspberries, and the farm reports "Berries are very abundant."
Pick-your-own garden vegetables: courgette, cucumbers, beetroot, green beans, bell peppers, kale, dill and assorted herbs. Plus cut-your-own flower bouquets.
Ripening soon: Zestar, SweeTango and Chestnut apples, and European plums.
Summer hours: 9am to 2pm, every day. The season runs late June to November.
The farm is direct about a thing most orchards leave vague: "Not all fruit is available for u-pick. Some may not be ripe. Please ask if you aren't sure."
Supervised children welcome. No pets.
Pro tip: European plums for picking are rare in the upper Midwest, because most plums grown this far north are hardy Japanese-American hybrids. If Knapton's has proper prune plums, that is worth a September trip on its own.
Not available here: Pet Friendly.
