Great Country Farms

Great Country Farms at Bluemont is the busiest picking farm in northern Virginia and runs an event almost every weekend of the year, from a Construction Rodeo to a Doxie Derby rescue race.

What You Can Pick

• Strawberries, cherries and black raspberries - spring
• Peaches and blackberries - summer, and peaches are picking now
• Apples - from September, with the corn maze
• Pumpkins - the Pumpkin Picking Fall Fest

What Else is Available

A Cider Barn, a bakery doing doughnuts to order, a farm market, a play area, farm animals, Pumpkin Chunkin', the LOCO Cider Fest, flashlight corn maze nights and winter indoor play.

Good to Know

Open daily, 9am to 5pm. General admission is ticketed and sold by the month.

The farm runs free U-Pick Alerts: sign up and it tells you what is ripe before you drive out. That is the single most useful thing any farm in this region offers.

There is a Military Admission rate.
