U Pick Orchards at Morgan Hill runs five separate ranches at one price, and it is the only farm in this region that regularly sells out: the 2026 season closed before it finished.
Sweet cherries at $7.50 a pound, across five varieties: Coral, Rainier, Bing, Sweetheart and Lapin.
The picking window is short and the orchard says so: three to four weeks in late May or early June, depending on weather and fruit maturity. It is currently sold out for 2026 and closed until 2027.
At $7.50 a pound this is the most expensive cherry picking in the region, roughly double what Brentwood charges an hour to the north-east.
Pro tip: it sells out, so the thing that matters here is not the day you go but the day you book. Watch the orchard's Instagram in April rather than May.
