The Urban Edge Farm

The Urban Edge Farm at Brentwood keeps twenty-four acres of orchard, most of it given over to picking, and its autumn list is unlike anything else within reach of the Bay: figs, pomegranates and persimmons.

What You Can Pick

• Late April to June - stone fruit and citrus
• June to August - apples, stone fruit and figs
• September and October - apples, figs, pomegranates and persimmons
• Flowers - by the bucket, all season

What It Costs

Produce is priced by weight, with the rate set daily at the farm store. Flowers are by the bucket: two one-quart buckets for $30, a one-gallon bucket for $30, a two-gallon bucket for $40.

Good to Know

Open Tuesday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 4pm.

The farm provides clippers, buckets and harvesting tools, and takes cash, card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Pro tip: come in October. Pomegranates and persimmons are the two fruits nearly nobody lets the public pick, they are at their best when everything else has finished, and this is the only farm in the region offering both.
