Good to Know
The picking board as of late August reads simply: "Picking Hours: Closed until September 12th", with three crops marked "Season Over" and two marked "Opens September".
The stand keeps its own hours and opens earlier in the year than the fields do.
Pro tip: 12 September is a firm date on a board the farm actually maintains, which is more than most orchards in this region offer. Diary it rather than ringing in the last week of August.
