Good to Know

Open daily 9am to 6pm. After the orchard closes, in the farm's own words: "The orchard is closed, however apples, cider and pumpkins are available at our cold storage area, using the Thrall Road entrance, for CASH ONLY sales."

A visitor quoted on the farm's own site puts it well: "Blackman farm is a great small farm for families to go to to pick apples and enjoy a few farm animals and fresh cider slushies. It's a nice short drive from the Buffalo suburbs and you can just take a couple hours to have a great afternoon away."

Pro tip: the cold store with the Thrall Road entrance is the thing to know. When the orchard shuts you can still buy apples and cider there, cash in hand, well after every other farm in the county has closed for the year.
