Shenk's Berry Farm at Lititz publishes real prices, which almost nobody in this region does, and it keeps split hours: mornings and evenings, shut through the middle of the day.
The farm closed for the 2026 season on 14 July. It ran through mid-July on intermittent hours as the berries ran out.
In season: weekday mornings 8am to noon and evenings 4:30pm to 8:30pm, Saturdays 8am to noon, closed Sunday.
Pro tip: those split hours are not an inconvenience, they are the point. A berry picked at half past six in the evening is worth more than one picked at one o'clock in the sun, and this farm has organised its whole day around that.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
In-season hours from the farm. It picks mornings and evenings and shuts through the middle of the day, which is how you avoid picking berries in the heat.
