DiMeo Farms at Hammonton is a 110-year-old regenerative family blueberry farm in the Pine Barrens, and it does not do walk-ins: "OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY during the summer months of June, July and August."
Organic, non-GMO heirloom blueberries. Nothing else.
$2.50 a pint. In the farm's own words: "No entrance fees. No admission fees. Cash only."
Rather a lot, for a blueberry farm: nature trails, kayaking on the creek, swimming, pilates and forest bathing, with fully shaded picnic areas in the Pinelands nature preserve. And, in its own words, "relaxing blueberry picking music".
Open 10am to 5pm, by appointment. Ring (609) 561-5905 to book, same-day appointments available.
Pet friendly. Cash only.
Pro tip: appointment-only picking on a 110-year-old farm means you will not be sharing the rows with a coach party. Ring the morning you want to go rather than planning a fortnight ahead.
Not available here: EFTPOS.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
From the farm, June to August, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Ring the same day to book.
