This season
The farm offers pick-your-own apples in autumn and publishes no dates, hours or prices of its own. Norfolk is the coldest and highest corner of Connecticut, so expect a later season than the rest of the state.

Autumn Harvest Orchard at Norfolk is certified organic, which makes it one of very few certified organic picking orchards anywhere on this site.
Honey from hives on the farm.
Norfolk sits high in the north-west hills, which is the coldest corner of Connecticut and a late-ripening one. Ring before travelling: this is a small operation and it publishes almost nothing.
Pro tip: certified organic apples are genuinely hard to grow in New England, where scab and codling moth make a wet summer punishing. A farm that manages it and still opens the rows to the public is worth the drive up into the hills.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
