Yankey Farms at Bristow makes a claim about its pumpkin patch that is worth quoting, because it is rarer than it sounds:
"We are one of the few 'pumpkin patches' in Northern Virginia where you can actually pick your pumpkin out of the field where it grew."

Pro tip: most "pumpkin patches" are pumpkins trucked in and laid on grass. A field you actually walk into, with vines and mud, is a different thing and children can tell the difference immediately.
