Sycamore Spring Farm near Frederick is a permaculture and heritage-breed farm running a "No Harm" farming philosophy and a Food Forest Project.
Blueberries, cherries, grapes, raspberries and strawberries, according to the directory. The farm's own site does not mention picking at all.
The farm's own front page is about its CSA, which is sold out for 2026 with only limited eight-week shares left. It also offers permaculture design services.
The directory records hours of April to December, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 8am until 8pm, which the farm does not confirm.
Pro tip: a CSA-first farm is not automatically closed to the public, but it is not automatically open either. This one needs a phone call before you drive to Frederick.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
