Lohr's Orchard at Churchville has been a Harford County tradition since 1928, and its roadside stand keeps longer hours than almost anything else in this region.
Apples, peaches and strawberries in their seasons. The orchard runs a separate pick-your-own page and asks you to check it.
Fresh produce, fresh baked pies, and locally pressed cider when in season. The orchard also trades at the Havre de Grace farmers' market on Saturdays and at Edgewood on the first Sunday of the month, April to November.
The Route 22 stand opens Monday to Saturday 8:30am to 6pm and Sunday 8:30am to 5:30pm.
No pets of any kind, which the orchard attributes to the Food Safety Modernization Act. Service dogs are permitted.
Pro tip: a farm stand open at half past eight seven days a week is where the locals go before work. If the picking is not on, the pies and the cider are still worth the stop.
Not available here: Pet Friendly.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
Route 22 stand hours from the orchard, seven days. The picking fields keep their own hours on a separate page.
