Doc Waters Cidery at Germantown makes cider from its own trees, and it says so on its masthead: "From Our Trees to Your Glass."
Apples, at the orchard, in season and by reservation. There are also apple orchard field trips.
Two sites, and this catches people out. The cidery is at 22529 Wildcat Road and the orchard is at 22711 Wildcat Road. They are not the same place.
Cidery hours: closed Monday to Thursday, Friday 4pm to 9pm, Saturday noon to 8pm, Sunday noon to 6pm.
Orchard: closed for the season at the time of checking.
On animals: "Leashed pets are welcome at Doc Waters Cidery! No pets are allowed at The Orchard." Which is exactly the right rule and rarely stated so clearly.

Pro tip: a cidery that opens at four on a Friday and picks apples down the road is a good autumn afternoon in the right order. Pick first, drink after.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
