Cox Farms at Centreville is one of the largest autumn attractions in Virginia, and it is closed for most of the year: "All grounds are closed until the Fall Festival season - opening Sept 19!"
Pumpkins, during the Fall Festival. There is no fruit picking here.
The Fall Festival, 19 September to 8 November, with slides, farm animals, a festival market and food. Fields of Fear after dark. The Corner Market. And Foamhenge, a full-size polystyrene replica of Stonehenge, which the farm keeps on site and lists under "About".
Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the festival, and closed 4 to 6 November.
Tickets are sold online. There is a published rain policy.
Pro tip: this is a festival, not an orchard, and the pumpkins are the least of it. Go for the slides and Foamhenge; pick your fruit at Great Country Farms or Hollin.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
