About This Farm
Horton Iris Garden at Loomis is an iris grower for most of the year and a pumpkin patch for the rest of it, and the pumpkins come out of the field rather than off a pallet: "Many varieties of pumpkin that you pick directly from the field."

Good to Know
Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 3pm. Zinnias and sunflowers are picked here too in season, and the iris beds are the reason most people know the place.
Pro tip: a working iris garden in October is an odd and rather lovely place to buy a pumpkin, and the three hour window on three days means it never feels like a fairground.
