About This Farm
24 Carrot Farm is one of the few places on Apple Hill where the fruit is genuinely yours to pick, and it is the only one that puts a price on every crop before you arrive.
What You Can Pick
- Strawberries - open now, $4 a pound
- Flowers - sunflowers, zinnias, marigolds, rudbeckia, snapdragons and more, 10 stems for $7
- Pumpkins - October, $1.50 a pound, in the farm's words "Cut your own heirloom pumpkins, straight from the vine!"

The berries are shut for this season. The farm's own u-pick page reads "CLOSED FOR 2026 SEASON. Check back Late July 2027" against blackberries and raspberries. Strawberries and flowers are unaffected and open Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
Pro tip: the raspberries at $10 a pound are the most expensive picking in this region by some distance, which tells you something about how hard they are to grow at 2,700 feet. Worth the drive in 2027.
