Pumpkin picking in New York, NY

Open every day year round, 9am to 8pm, with pick-your-own every day from May to October. Asparagus opens the season, which nothing else in this region picks.

In the orchard's own capitals: "Due to a devastating freeze during blossom time, fruits will be thin this year. NO CHERRIES FOR 2026!" Everything else runs to its usual calendar, strawberries in June through apples from late August to November.

The picking fields open 9:30am to 6pm. Vegetables are picking now, tomatoes, aubergine, peppers and squash, at $10 for a half-peck bag, and the cut flowers are in bloom. There is no admission charge for the farm animals and play area.

There is no peach u-pick in 2026, in the orchard's own words, "due to April freeze". Apple picking is limited and starts 12 September. Pumpkin picking returns on autumn weekends.

At the time of checking, South Brunswick was picking blueberries and blackberries and the Washington site blackberries and raspberries. The picking fields open Tuesday to Sunday and are closed on Mondays.

Open daily. The farm publishes a "What Can I Pick Today" page and an Annual Harvest Schedule rather than fixed crop dates, and a weekly circular for what is ready.

Apple season begins 29 August and pick-your-own pumpkins on 19 September. In the orchard's own words, "we will not have a Pick-Your-Own Peach season this year". Open Thursday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm.

Open every day 10am to 5pm from 19 June to 22 November. Entry is $5 a person on weekdays and $10 at weekends and on holidays, with college students free on production of a valid ID.

Apple picking runs 28 August to 30 October and pumpkin picking starts late September. New for 2026 are themed special events and a Farmer 5K course.

The farm publishes a ripening calendar rather than fixed dates. Pick-your-own is at the Califon Orchards site: apples, strawberries, peaches, pumpkins and flowers.

Apple picking and autumn activities begin in September, with the pumpkin field opening later that month. Admission is $50 a car, which includes a half-bushel bag holding up to twenty-two pounds of apples. U-pick is cash only.

Raspberries are in season at the time of checking. The Sunflower Festival ran 8 to 9 and 15 to 16 August, and Berry Fest 13 to 14 June. No outside food is allowed on autumn weekends and holidays.

The 2026 season is the farm's 110th harvest and opens on 22 August. Peaches start in August, apples in early September, pumpkins in October and Christmas trees after Thanksgiving. Open Wednesday to Monday, closed Tuesdays.

The farm expects, in its own words, "a ver abbreviated pyo season" in 2026 after spring freeze damage that largely took the peaches. Apple picking usually opens the first weekend in September and runs to late October.

In the orchard's own words: "Mother Nature gave apple farmers some 'tough love' this year! From Virginia to Albany farmers lost most or all of their apples in a deep freeze in April 2026." Apple picking still starts 29 August, and pumpkin picking is starting early.

Opening for the season on 18 September 2026. Open Friday to Sunday 10am to 6pm, with picking 10am to 5pm and hayrides noon to 5pm at weekends only.

The regular season runs 29 July to 4 November, with apple and pumpkin picking through the autumn. Hours are Friday to Sunday and run late, to 9pm on Friday and Saturday.

In the farm's own words: "We are now open for the 2026 season! Join us daily from 8am to 5pm." Pick-your-own peaches, apples and pumpkins each have their own season.

The farm publishes a month-by-month calendar: blueberries in July, peaches and zinnias in August, apples in September, apples and pumpkins in October. The store opens 9am to 6pm and the fields close at 5pm.

Open seven days, 9am to 5pm. The orchard picks apples, berries and pumpkins, with the apple season opening the last weekend in August.

In the farm's own words, hours are "weekends only when in season and dependent on the seasonality of our crops". The farm keeps a recorded phone message updated when crops run low or it closes for weather, and asks you to ring first.

The farmstand opens 9am to 6pm and picking 10am to 4:30pm. Apple picking starts Labor Day weekend. There is free parking and no orchard fee, and it is cash or cheque only.

In the farm's own words, "From July-October our Pick-Your-Own offers an assortment of fruits, vegetables & zinnias." The winery opens 11am to 5pm at weekends.

The orchard's own 2026 update: "We will be CLOSED for peaches this year. We will be OPEN (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) starting 9/18/26 through 10/25/26 and Columbus Day, weather permitting, for Pumpkins and other family fun activities." It is closed through July and August.

Open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 9am to 1pm. Pick-your-own is strawberries in early summer and pumpkins in autumn.

In the farm's own words: "We are now closed for the season and will re-open in the Fall for U-Pick Pumpkins!" Strawberries are the summer crop and pumpkins the October one.

Opening for the season on Saturday 29 August and running to 31 October. Apple picking is $20 a person on weekdays and $27 at weekends and on holidays, including a three-pound bag and the activities. Credit cards only.

The farm's own site carries a pick-your-own section but its pages returned no readable content, so no season dates, crops or prices are confirmed.

The Fall Festival runs 30 August to 1 November, weekdays 10am to 6pm and weekends 9am to 5pm, with apple and pumpkin picking. Tickets are sold online.

The farm publishes a four-line calendar and asks you to call before visiting: strawberries late May to June, peaches July to August, apples and pumpkins September to October, Christmas trees November to December. Hours vary seasonally.

The market opens at six in the morning year round. September and October are daily 6am to 5pm; the rest of the year is 6am to 5pm on weekdays and 6am to 3pm at weekends. The picking crops are not published.
