About This Farm
Blake Farms South Lyon is the Blake site on the western side of Detroit, the orchard that used to be Erwin Orchards, and the only one of the three where the raspberry field closes one day a week.

Good to Know
In the farm's own words: "Raspberry picking closed on Mondays at Blake's Lyon Township for field maintenance." No other Blake site has that restriction.
Apples start here a fortnight later than at Armada, which is the difference two counties make.
Pro tip: if you have been coming here for years and know it as Erwin's, it is the same orchard on Silver Lake Road. Several directories still carry Erwin Orchards as permanently closed, which is how a rename gets recorded when nobody tells the directory.
