Blueberry picking in Charlotte, NC

The blueberry fields are closed to pick-your-own for the whole of 2026. In a normal year picking runs mid-June to mid-July. Ring (704) 400-3356 before making plans for 2027.

Open spring through 31 October. The second site, Berry Hill, is closed for the season. Admission is always free and you pay for what you pick, though the farm publishes no rate.

Picking runs from strawberries in April and May through blueberries, peaches and blackberries in summer to pumpkins in the autumn, which is the longest picking calendar of any farm in the region.

Picking runs from the last week of June to the first week of August, with July the full month. The farm publishes no price and says hours vary, so ring first.

Closed for the summer. The farm reopens on 13 September for its fall season, and reservations for September open on 8 September at 5pm, October on 29 September. No price is published.

Blueberry picking runs through midsummer and figs ripen from late July into mid-September at $12 a pound. Blueberries and flowers are both by appointment, booked through the farm.

The 2026 spring and summer season has ended. The farm reopens in mid-September, in its own words, "for flowers, muscadines, tomatoes, sweet Potatoes and possible a few pumpkins". It publishes no price.

Open Monday to Saturday in two shifts, mornings and evenings, closed Sundays and closed through the heat of the day. The patch has no website and publishes no price.

Blueberry picking begins in the first week of July and normally runs about four weeks. Hours are announced on the farm's Facebook page at the start of the season rather than published in advance.

The 2026 blueberry season is over. The farm's last picking day was 1 August 2026. It reopens in December as a choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm.
