Strawberry picking in Atlanta, GA

The 2026 strawberry season has come to an end. The farm posts its opening and closing on Facebook, which it describes as its only public media source. There is no pumpkin patch: the family has not grown them for nine years.

The 2026 strawberry picking season closed at the end of May, after a last day of good berries. Near the end of a season the farm opens day by day and announces each one, so check before setting out, and ring ahead for pre-picked orders.

The spring strawberry patch runs from early April to the first of June. The farm also plants a second crop and opens it for picking in the late autumn when the weather allows, which is not guaranteed. After rain the patch closes, so ring to check it has reopened before driving out.

Blueberries are picking at $4 a pound, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9am to noon. Blackberries have sold out and strawberries are out of season. Fall Daze runs September 27 to October 31.

U-pick peaches finished on August 7. Muscadines, scuppernongs and zinnias are picking now. Pre-picked peaches are in the Country Market while supplies last. The farm is closed Sundays and Mondays until the fall season opens on September 19, when it returns to seven days. Check the farm’s Facebook page rather than its website: the page is current and the website has been behind.

The 2026 season finished on July 10. Hours were posted day by day through the season rather than set in advance.

Closed for 2026. The season ended on July 19 with a last morning of blueberry picking. The farm reopens in mid-April 2027 with 25,000 new strawberry plants, 165 blueberry bushes and 300 blackberry plants, and is considering adding raspberries.

Closed for 2026, back next spring. The season runs from about mid-April to mid-June. Appointments are released on Mondays at noon for the week ahead and cannot be booked more than seven days out, with the number varying by weather and by what is ripe.

Strawberry and blackberry season is over. Through August the farm opens Mondays and Tuesdays only, weather permitting, for u-cut flowers, the fun park and the farm store. No hayrides.
